How to Wear Neelam

Blue Sapphire is highly reactive; follow this procedure strictly to ensure it aligns with Saturn’s energy:

1. Metal: Best set in Silver, White Gold, or Platinum. Avoid yellow gold unless specifically advised, as Sun (Gold) and Saturn are enemies.

2. Finger: Wear it on the middle finger of the working hand (right hand for most).

3. Weight: Typically 1/12th of your body weight (e.g., a 5-carat stone for a 60 kg person).

4. Day & Time: Saturday. The best time is usually during Shani Hora (often early morning before sunrise or in the evening after sunset) during Shukla Paksha.

5. Purification: Cleanse the ring by dipping it in a mixture of raw cow milk, honey, and Ganga Jal for 15–30 minutes.

6. Mantra: Chant the Shani Mantra 108 times before wearing: "Om Sham Shanicharaya Namah".
